Courtney and Andrew's wedding was likely one of my favorite of the season. I know it seems like I say that after every wedding, but honestly, with each wedding I have the privilege to shoot, I walk away overcome with joy! This gorgeous green and southern wedding theme had a truly unique feel. With the pre wedding photos and reception that took place at the RT Lodge in Maryville, TN, one couldn't help but feel right at home. Courtney's vision of capturing the essence of East Tennessee came to fruition with the homey feel of the lodge, a home cooked meal presented in true southern style (in pots and pans), and a family dining experience.
Perhaps the most memorable part of the day was the reception. Courtney booked TN bluegrass band, The Bearded and they couldn't have been anymore fitting! The sound of the banjo resignated in the hearts of everyone around and made us all want to dance! I switched my camera to video mode to capture a few moments. Courtney and Andrew are a well-traveled couple. So, it was only natural to them to spend their honeymoon overseas touring Greece! My jaw dropped when Andrew told me their honeymoon plans (traveling to Greece is one of my dreams). Congratulations to this sweet, kind-hearted couple. I feel I have made two new friends.
